It’s not often as a photographer that I meet a couple who say, “Would it be possible to include our plane in the photo session”?

Katrina & Tom’s wedding is coming up at the end of the month, but we managed to squeeze in a fun little trip to the Langley Airport before the big day.

Then we took a quick trip over to Sendall Gardens to for the rest of the shoot, so we could include their adorable dog Mac.


Mac clearly didn’t want to be left out of the kisses:

Kristi & Jason’s gorgeous wedding was held at her parents’ home, only a stone’s throw from Lynn Canyon. There’s nothing more personal and intimate than a backyard wedding, and the amount of hard work and love invested in every single detail really shows.

The final touches. Kristi’s still cool as a cucumber:

I discovered a budding photographer dragging her willing subjects all over the yard for different backdrops and poses. Flower girl now….but not long before she’s competition!

The chivalrous best man is put in charge of following behind to carry the dress, as we head out for a little photo shoot in lynn canyon:

The opportunity to just zip off to lynn canyon for a shoot is such a treat:

How great to have a sister with her own wedding cake company! If the company was in Canada I’d be plugging it for sure. But the cake was actually flown in!:
